Job summary

ARUP is seeking Graduate Mechanical Building Services Engineers to join its national design teams. You will contribute to low energy and low carbon design concepts, work on HVAC systems, and use 3D modelling tools to shape sustainable building designs across diverse projects in the UK.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Building Services Engineering (or strong Bachelor’s degrees) is accepted.
• Accredited course by IMechE, CIBSE or Engineering Council is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development of mechanical design concepts focusing on low energy and low carbon design.
• Complete the design of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.
• Utilise software and digital tools to analyse and optimise solutions.
• Use Revit for 3D modelling to develop system designs.
• Perform thermal and Building Regulation compliance modelling (IESVE or similar).
• Prepare mark-ups and collaborate with design teams on holistic project design.
