Job summary

Arup in the UK is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our Newcastle design teams. From day one you’ll contribute to projects that reduce energy use and carbon emissions, working within a multi-disciplinary environment and supported on your professional pathway toward a CIBSE or IMechE accredited qualification.

You will work on HVAC system design, low-energy concepts, 3D modelling with Revit, and thermal/building regulation modelling using IESVE or similar, with site

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Building Services Engineering.
• Accredited by IMechE, CIBSE or Engineering Council for relevant courses.
• Full working rights in the country of application.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical design concepts focusing on low energy and low carbon solutions.
• Design HVAC systems and assess thermal and regulatory compliance.
• Use Revit and other tools to develop system designs.
• Conduct site visits and prepare reports and presentations.
• Contribute to decarbonisation strategies for buildings.
