Job summary

Arup is seeking Graduate Mechanical Building Services Engineers to join our UK design teams. You will contribute to low-energy, low-carbon building services projects, using Revit for 3D designs and IESVE for performance modelling, while supporting decarbonisation efforts.

You will join a multidisciplinary community, with pathways toward professional qualification and a strong focus on sustainable consultancy for diverse projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Building Services Engineering; strong Bachelor's considered
• IMechE, CIBSE, or Engineering Council accredited course preferred

Responsibilities

• Support development of low energy, low carbon design concepts.
• Complete HVAC system design.
• Use software to analyze and optimize solutions.
• Develop system designs using 3D modelling (Revit).
• Conduct thermal and Building Regulations modelling with IESVE or similar.
• Prepare markups and coordinate with design teams.
• Contribute to decarbonisation strategies for buildings.
• Conduct site visits to verify installations.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and site reports.
• Evaluate new technologies for sustainable design.
