Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

We’re looking for an HR Professional to join our Severnside dairy site. The Site HR Manager is responsible for the delivery of all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding, performance management through to employee exit. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, manufacturing environment and enjoys being close to the operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the HR people agenda for site by working with key stakeholders.
  • Building commitment for HR initiatives across the site.
  • Effectively communicating people‑related initiatives and strategy to the site workforce.
  • Driving compliance against people KPIs, such as absence and turnover, to track and determine progress in addressing gaps.
  • Participating in the implementation of HR projects, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.
  • Delivering an engagement and wellbeing agenda and tracking progress against engagement action plans.
  • Facilitating employee forums, focus groups, and listening sessions.
  • Collaborating with Centres of Excellence within the HR team including the ER team, recruitment, and L&D teams.
  • Working with the Reward team; implementing and communicating incentive and recognition programmes ensuring that people understand the link between performance and reward/recognition.
  • Coaching management teams to improve the effectiveness of performance development.
  • Ensuring the performance management process is in place and operating effectively.
  • Supporting and developing relevant stakeholder groups in the identification and development of talent and generating, reviewing, and delivering a succession strategy.
  • Building leadership capability by providing managers with skills, tools, and techniques to manage change and employee issues.
  • Managing recruitment in line with workforce plans; regularly reviewing headcount with Finance colleagues to ensure budgets are appropriately managed.
Key Skills & Experience
  • CIPD qualified or relevant experience.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a business partner/matrix structure.
  • Proven experience of leading HR project workstreams.
  • Proven HR legislative understanding/knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge appropriately.
