What You’ll Do
  • Assist with supporting ground investigation projects from planning through to completion.
  • Carry out site‑based activities including borehole logging, trial pitting, soil sampling, and groundwater and gas monitoring.
  • Tackle data preparation and the creation of factual and interpretative reports.
  • Contribute to Ground Investigation and Geotechnical Design Reports under supervision.
  • Work closely with senior engineers to develop technical and professional skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
  • Have a keen interest in ground investigation and geotechnical engineering.
  • Be based in or near Newcastle and willing to travel to site when required.
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
