Job summary
GE Vernova Grid Automation offers a Graduate Engineering Programme focused on protection and control for substation projects. Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, power systems, or related field.
- Basic understanding of protection schemes, relay logic, and control system principles.
- Familiarity with SCADA/DCS systems, industrial communications, or cybersecurity in energy systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and configuration of protection and control systems for electrical substations.
- Support testing activities, including factory acceptance tests.
- Gain exposure to SCADA, RTU, HMI systems, and protection relays.
- Learn and apply IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus and other communication protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product engineering, applications, and field services.
- Support documentation development, including system specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.
