Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Governance
- Own the global POS strategy, standards, and governance; ensure consistency with brand guidelines and local regulations.
- Prioritise markets/retailers based on revenue potential, store economics, and operational readiness.
Design & Tooling
- Create a scalable "kit of parts" (signage, fixtures, demo bays, sample panels, shelf talkers, end-caps).
- Deliver retailer‑specific planograms and install guides; manage content localisation.
- Partner with Creative Services to keep assets on‑brand and easy to update.
Retailer Programmes
- Co‑design programmes with key accounts to fit footprints and shopper journeys.
- Align promo calendars, launches, and seasonal refreshes with inventory and staffing.
Operations & Logistics
- Oversee manufacturing, kitting, warehousing, and last‑mile install/remove.
- Maintain an installed‑base register (by store/fixture/serial/maintenance history).
Digital Integration
- Integrate QR/NFC to product selectors, how‑to content, and lead capture; ensure analytics and consent are in place.
- Coordinate with Web/CRM to route scans to the correct locale, language, and follow‑up flows.
Financial & Measurement
- Own POS budget; model ROI (uplift vs. control, cost/store, payback).
- Reduce total cost of ownership via material reuse, modularity, and vendor consolidation.
- Publish monthly KPI dashboard and QBR packs.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Create feedback loops from store data to Sales, Product, and Marketing.
- Train field teams and retail associates; create simple install/maintenance toolkits.
The Successful Applicant
About You
- 8+ years in retail POS/shopper activation across multiple regions (EU/UK/US/AU).
- Proven delivery of large POS programs (multi‑retailer, 500+ stores) with measurable sell‑through impact.
- Familiarity with JDA/Blue Yonder/Spaceman, SketchUp, Adobe CC.
- Experience implementing QR/NFC journeys and retail analytics tagging.
- Sustainability experience (materials, reuse models, vendor ESG scoring).
- Vendor management and procurement expertise (fixtures, print, digital screens).
- Strong planogram and store‑layout literacy; comfortable with CAD/3D reviews.
- Data‑driven: Excel/Sheets and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) for KPI tracking and A/B reads.
- Excellent project management across time zones; strong stakeholder management.
- Comfortable building new structures and processes in a changing, growth‑oriented environment.
- Commercial acumen with design sensitivity.
- Systems thinker; simplifies complexity into repeatable kits/processes.
- Negotiation and vendor management.
- Change management and clear communication.
- Builder mindset / start‑up mentality: hands‑on, proactive, comfortable creating from a blank sheet.
