Job summary

Arup is seeking a Payroll Manager - Americas (UK Based / 1 Year FTC) to lead payroll operations across the US and Canada and to drive the global payroll transformation to CloudPay.

This role oversees payroll delivery, collaborates with CloudPay and global teams, defines future-state processes, drives workshops, and ensures milestones are met while developing the Americas payroll team.

You will work with global stakeholders to maintain compliance, accuracy, and timely reporting across regions.

Qualifications

• Experience managing US and Canadian payroll operations.
• Proven payroll transformation delivery experience.
• Knowledge of payroll regulations and HR/payroll integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll transformation across the Americas.
• Define future processes and operating models.
• Facilitate workshops and manage risks and dependencies.
• Serve as liaison between regional payroll teams, CloudPay and global project team.
• Support payroll integration with Cloud HCM.
• Provide leadership to the Americas payroll team.
• Ensure accurate US and Canadian payroll delivery and compliance.
• Produce management reporting and support audits.
