Job summary

Arup is seeking a Payroll Manager for the Americas (UK Based / 1 Year FTC) to lead the payroll transformation as we migrate to a single global payroll with CloudPay. You will oversee US and Canadian payroll delivery and define future-state processes alongside key stakeholders.

Role involves collaboration across payroll teams, business analysts, and CloudPay, delivering on project milestones while ensuring compliance with payroll tax and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing US and Canada payroll operations.
• Proven payroll transformation experience, including process standardisation or managed service implementation.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems, payroll tax regulations, and HR/payroll integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll transformation activities across the Americas with global payroll migration.
• Partner with stakeholders to define future processes and operating models.
• Facilitate workshops, manage risks and dependencies, and drive project delivery.
• Act as liaison between regional payroll teams, CloudPay and global project team.
• Oversee US and Canadian payroll delivery ensuring compliance.
