Job summary

Arup is seeking a Payroll Manager for the Americas (UK based) to lead payroll delivery across the US and Canada and drive a major global transformation to a single managed service with CloudPay. The role combines leadership of regional payroll operations with design and migration of future-state processes and controls.

You will collaborate with payroll teams, analysts, CloudPay, and stakeholders to ensure compliant, efficient payroll delivery and successful project milestones across the Americas.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing US and Canadian payroll operations.
• Experience delivering payroll transformation projects.
• Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and HR/payroll integrations.
• Ability to work with global stakeholders and lead workshops.
• Strong Excel and data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll transformation across the Americas and migration to a global managed service.
• Partner with stakeholders to define future processes, operating models and business requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, manage risks/dependencies, and drive project delivery.
• Act as the liaison between regional payroll teams, CloudPay and the global project team.
• Support payroll integration with Cloud HCM implementation and coach Americas team.
• Oversee US and Canada payroll delivery, ensure compliance.
• Produce management reporting, support audits, drive process improvement.
