Job summary

GM Performance Power Units is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our Human Resources team. You will own end-to-end payroll processing for US and UK employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.

You will collaborate with HR on deadlines, auditing, and adjustments while leveraging Dayforce HCM and advanced Excel skills to optimize payroll operations and reporting. The role supports our compensation strategy and requires strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience in handling multi-state payroll and compliance reporting.
• Experience with Dayforce HCM and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer bi-weekly, monthly, and off cycle payrolls for salaried and hourly employees across GMPPU (US & UK).
• Ensure compliance with US federal and state payroll regulations, international pay practices, and company policies.
• Coordinate with Human Resources for payroll deadlines, auditing, retroactive adjustments, and off-cycle payments.
• Maintain relationships with payroll vendors and ensure accurate payroll reporting.
