Job summary

GM Performance Power Units is seeking a Payroll Analyst to lead end-to-end payroll processing across US and UK regions. The role partners with Human Resources to ensure accurate, compliant payroll operations and acts as a subject matter expert on payroll administration.

The successful candidate will manage bi-weekly, monthly, and off-cycle payrolls, support timekeeping and bonus processes, and drive continuous improvement in payroll procedures and reporting within Dayforce HCM and related

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field.
• 3+ years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience across multi-state payroll and compliance reporting.
• 3+ years supporting US payroll operations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Dayforce HCM and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience performing payroll audits, reconciliations, and payroll compliance reviews.
• Experience supporting hourly non-exempt timekeeping administration.
• Ability to present payroll data to support compliance and business decisions.
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance regulations.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Administer bi-weekly, monthly, and off-cycle payrolls for salaried and hourly employees in US & UK.
• Ensure compliance with US federal/state regulations, international pay practices, and company policies.
• Coordinate with HR for deadlines, auditing, retroactive adjustments, and off-cycle payments.
• Maintain relationships with payroll vendors and ensure accurate reporting.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
• Support payroll system configuration updates in Dayforce HCM.
• Adhere to auditing procedures and validate state tax allocations and notices.
