Job summary

GM Performance Power Units is seeking a Payroll Analyst to manage end-to-end payroll processing for salaried and hourly staff across US and UK. You will ensure compliance with payroll regulations, coordinate with HR for deadlines and audits, and maintain payroll reporting with vendors.

The role emphasizes accurate tax allocations, timekeeping, and bonus/compensation administration within Dayforce HCM and related systems, supporting continuous improvement in payroll procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field required.
• 3+ years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience handling multi-state payroll and compliance reporting.
• Experience supporting US payroll operations and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Dayforce HCM and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience performing payroll audits, reconciliations, and compliance reviews.
• Experience supporting hourly non-exempt timekeeping administration.
• Strong ability to present payroll data to support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Administer bi-weekly, monthly, and off-cycle payrolls for salaried and hourly employees (US & UK).
• Ensure compliance with US regulations, international pay practices, and company policies.
• Coordinate with HR on deadlines, audits, and off-cycle payments.
• Maintain relationships with payroll vendors and accurate reporting.
• Resolve discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
• Support Dayforce HCM configuration updates and procedures.
• Adhere to auditing procedures and validate state tax allocations.
