Job summary

DSV is seeking a proactive Cross Trade & Dedicated Transport Operator to join our International Operations Team in the UK. The role covers cross-trade and dedicated transport activities, ensuring continuity during peak periods and leave.

You will build strong customer relationships and own shipments from quotation to delivery. Ideal candidates will have transport or logistics experience, strong organisational skills and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics, freight forwarding or customer service.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of European transport operations is desirable.
• Good IT skills and familiarity with transport management systems.
• High attention to detail and administrative competency.

Responsibilities

• Manage cross-trade shipments across Europe and integrated transport movements.
• Accept and process customer bookings accurately and efficiently.
• Proactively monitor shipments and resolve exceptions.
• Communicate updates to customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare quotations aligned with customer requirements and supply schedules.
• Support customs processes and ensure compliant documentation.
• Provide cover for annual leave and peak workload periods.
