Job summary

DSV is seeking a Cross Trade & Dedicated Transport Operator to join the International Operations Team in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will manage cross-trade shipments across Europe, handle bookings, monitor progress, and resolve issues while maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships.

The role emphasizes accuracy in PODs/IODs and invoices, with a focus on delivering proactive service and continuous improvement across operations and customs support.

Qualifications

• Experience within transport, logistics, freight forwarding, or customer service.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy and changing workload.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience working with European transport operations is desirable.
• Understanding of customs processes would be advantageous.
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Good IT skills and experience using transport management systems.
• High attention to detail and strong administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage part load and full load cross-trade shipments across Europe, alongside dedicated transport and van movements.
• Accept and process customer bookings accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor shipments proactively and manage exceptions through to resolution.
• Communicate and build relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure PODs, IODs, invoices, and supplier costs are completed accurately and within required timelines.
