DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is hiring a Customer Service Agent – Export Operator in Immingham. You will manage export shipments and customer service for general and key account customers, ensuring bookings align with instructions and schedules.

This role requires strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams across the UK and abroad.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Attention to detail with a positive outlook.
• Previous experience within freight/transport would be advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers to fulfil traffic requirements per booking instructions.
• Receive bookings from UK exporters via online platform or email.
• Contact UK places to book in collections.
• Instruct UK Warehouse and Distribution teams for loading/offloading cargo via Transport Management System.
• Liaise with other DSV offices to report discrepancies or special requirements.
• Ensure legislative compliance and adherence to procedures and safety standards.
• Perform general administration including invoicing, filing, queries, and POD handling.
• Communicate with internal and external customers, suppliers, and offices as required.
