Job summary

RES is seeking a Senior Lead for Reporting, Analytics and AI to shape data-driven decision making across a global renewable energy business. You will design scalable data, AI and analytics products, and lead a global Data & AI Analytics function with 15+ years of experience.

You will own analytics delivery, work with stakeholders to define requirements, and apply LLMs and machine learning to solve business problems. The role combines hands-on coding with leadership across federated teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in data science, data analytics, or computer science.
• UK citizen or full UK work rights; no visa sponsorship.
• Extensive hands-on reporting, modelling and analytics across multiple domains.
• 10+ years delivering analytics and AI solutions with measurable impact.
• Strong Python, SQL and data governance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead business stakeholders to shape analytical approaches and drive action.
• Own target-state for reporting, analytics and AI, with scalable data products.
• Build and govern data models, BI outputs, and AI-enabled analytics.
• Collaborate with IT, architecture, security and vendors to deliver a platform.
• Coach teams, oversee junior staff, and drive global standards.
• Translate complex data findings into executive-ready insights.
• Apply ML/AI techniques, including generative AI, to business problems.
