Job summary

Contentful, now part of Salesforce, is seeking a German-speaking Enterprise Account Executive in the UK to lead end-to-end sales with top-tier DACH customers. The role centers on driving adoption, expanding opportunities, and enabling customers through a consultative process across developers and business leaders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience selling a technical platform in roles such as SDR/BDR/AE.
• 3+ years of individual quota-carrying experience.
• 2+ years of growing and expanding existing accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to close $100k+ opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Self-generation of the pipeline through outbound motions with marketing and BDRs to create opportunities in regional accounts.
• Drive expansion opportunities with existing clients in the DACH territory (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
• Grow accounts by leveraging relationships and the land-and-expand model.
• Meet quarterly and annual sales goals by developing an account strategy, managing processes, and delivering compelling sales proposals.
• Manage RFI/RFQ requests with internal and customer teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success to evolve the land-and-expand model.
