Qualifications

• Demonstratable post qualifications working within acute or Community mental health services.
• Experience of working with older people’s mental health.
• Demonstratable experience of working at a band 6 level.

Responsibilities

• Provide a response to Mental Health Crisis in Emergency Departments and Inpatient Wards.
• Complete a full biopsychosocial assessment and contribute to treatment plans.
• Provide advice and support regarding mental health care for patients.

Confident in managing high risk patient group

Able to work autonomously without direct supervision

Feed into an MDT approach of managing patient’s care

Education

Registered NMC

Post Qualification related to Mental health

Completed NMC Mentor Training
