Job summary

Mott MacDonald in the UK is seeking a motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join our Energy Unit. You will contribute to civil and structural projects across transmission, renewable generation, and nuclear sectors, delivering ground investigations, reports, and designs.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, support ground modelling, assess geotechnical risks, and travel to project sites as needed. The role offers hybrid working, a clear career path, and the chance to influence energy

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Experience in Energy developments (T&D, Renewables, Nuclear).
• Experience in ground investigation site works.

Responsibilities

• Geotechnical desks studies and reviews of geotechnical reporting.
• Prepare ground investigation scope, specifications and models.
• Prepare Geotechnical Interpretative and Design Reports.
• Conduct geotechnical analysis and ground modelling.
• Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines to deliver integrated assessments.
• Assess geotechnical risks and communicate appropriate solutions.
