Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Geography.
  • Strong understanding of the Geography curriculum for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Support students in Geography from Key Stage 3 through A'level.
  • Encourage students to develop confidence in their Geography skills.

Job description

Job Title: Teacher of Geography

Location: Liverpool

Start Date: January 2026

Pay £31650 - £49,084 per annum ( inclusive of holiday pay )

Pay will depend on current pay scale, evidence of this will need to be provided.

CER Education is working with a popular, oversubscribed secondary school in Liverpool to recruit a dedicated Geography Teacher.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing department and help students achieve their potential. You will be responsible for supporting students from Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4/ 5, equipping them with the confidence in Geography through to A'level.

The role is to start in January 2026 and will continue until July 2026.
