A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a proactive individual for a role involving patient care support in the Imaging team. Responsibilities include assisting in patient monitoring, reporting health changes, and providing admin support for booking patients. The ideal candidate will have experience with radiology imaging systems and excellent communication skills, making this an exciting opportunity in a dynamic healthcare setting within Coventry.
The department provides a fast and responsive outpatient, GP and clinic appointment booking service. When working with the bookings team the applicant will be expected to ring and agree appointment dates with our patients as well as working with members of the wider multidisciplinary team who refer patients for x‑ray.
The successful candidate will need to be experienced in or be willing to learn how to use radiology imaging systems and have a good understanding of patient pathways and referral processes and good people skills.
The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience in patient/customer contact.
