Responsibilities

• Keeping to Health and Safety rules and complying with safe working practices at all times.
• Wearing Personal Protective Equipment and Clothing in line with company policy.
• Conveyor belt picking.
• Removing blockages from machinery as and when required.
• Keeping areas clean and free from any hazards where and when instructed.
• The shoveling and cleaning of all waste materials and dirt.
• Moving items with a Forklift as requested (must be suitably qualified).

Job description

The role is predominantly manual labour dealing with day-to-day cleaning and maintenance. The post-holder must be able to work diligently with minimal supervision and be able to follow instructions when given. Work of a differing nature may also be available in other areas of the site from time to time as part of the firms commitment to the training and development of its workforce.
