Job summary

John Lewis Benugo Core is seeking an experienced General Manager in Norwich to lead daily operations, drive high standards of service, and build strong client relationships. You will manage budgets, forecast needs, and mentor a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences across both front and back of house.

The role offers a full-time contract with a competitive rate and benefits package, including meals on shift and access to employee perks.

• Build and maintain client relationships through regular meetings, problem solving and forward planning with the client
• Ensure customers experience is maintained at the highest standard from front and back of house
• Continuously work towards improving sales and service
• Manage financials and budget including forecasting, cost control and forward planning
• Support and manage team performance through evaluations, listening, training and mentoring
• Maintain high levels of Food and Health & Safety at all times

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to join the team at John Lewis Benugo Core

We Offer:
Rate: up to £40,000pa
Shifts: 5 days out of 7/ Mon- Fri/ Weekends
Contract: Full Time

About the General Manager role:

• To oversee the operational function of the location, by providing direction and structure to the team and ensuring our product and service is always of a high standard
• To build and maintain the client relationship by regularly meeting, problem solving and forward planning with the client
• To ensure the customers experience is maintained at all times to the highest standard from front and back of house
• To continuously work towards improving sales and service
• Financial and budget management including forecasting, cost control and forward planning
• To support and manage the performance of the team through ongoing evaluations, listening, training, and mentoring
• To ensure high levels of Food and Health & Safety are maintained at all times

The Ideal Candidate:

• A General Manager with a proven track record of success and building key client relations
• Experience in high volume and multi-site operations is highly desirable
• Excellent communicator with the ability to motivate and inspire
• Have astute financial and commercial awareness to ensure the continued success of the site
• A passion for food is a plus!
