Canonbury in Islington, London, is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead one of our flagship pubs. You'll run premium fresh-food operations, drive sales and guest satisfaction, and shape the local offering with autonomy within a framework.

General Manager - Up to 65k plus bonus - Live In

We're looking for a General Manager for one of our flagship pubs - The Canonbury in Islington. A short walk from Highbury and Islington station this gorgeous pub has plenty of space for drinking, dining and eventing. The upstairs function room comes with its own bar, the dining area has a glass roof to let the light in, and a well sized outside garden comes complete with a Seafood Shack and bar. Bold, welcoming and unapologetically confident, this is a real 'all-rounder' of pub.

The ideal candidate has experience running premium, fresh-food pubs, is no stranger to volume, and can continue to maximise sales opportunities in this fantastic business which has a growing reputation for fantastic food and drink.

Running a Pub for Young's:

We believe pubs should be differentiated and individual and so we are looking for entrepreneurial General Managers to put their own stamp on our businesses. We're all about freedom within a framework - you decide what goes on the food menu - and that doesn't mean picking from a bank of recipes!
