Job description

This is a hands‑on leadership role where no two days are the same. Your key responsibilities will revolve around:

Responsibilities

• Build an exceptional member experience, including delivering an extensive events calendar and building an engaged and vibrant community
• Ensure impeccable standards across your site – managing operational requirements such as maintenance and cleaning
• Troubleshoot facilities issues and ensure sites are compliant and within budget
• Maintain occupancy through your sales pipeline, touring prospective members, holding retention conversations with existing members and cultivating relationships both within Runway East and the surrounding ecosystem
• Build relationships with your team, motivate them, train them, set expectations and create a service‑first culture
• Improve our processes and question systems to make them as efficient as possible
• Leader: Confident in guiding and motivating your team to success
• Charismatic: Positive and personable, with a natural ability to build strong relationships

The Role

General Manager Bath is one of our newest sites, and we are looking for someone who can help it reach its full potential. You’ll be building a community for the founding members while signing up new companies, ironing out facilities snags and building a small team. This is our 14th site so there’s a clear playbook to follow, but every site has its own identity and challenges. Initially you’ll be overseeing one site, but there may be opportunities to manage other sites in the region as we expand. We are looking for a confident and engaging relationship builder who is comfortable leading from the front, spinning lots of plates and setting high standards.

Benefits

• Salary: £38,000 to £48,000, depending on experience
• Time Off: 31 days including bank holidays, plus an extra day for every year at Runway East. We also give you your birthday off and extra time off over the Christmas break.
