Job summary

Interaction Recruitment seeks an Area Sales Manager to cover Leeds/Yorkshire, selling gates, barriers and security/access solutions. You will develop a large territory, win new business, manage ongoing projects and maintain strong customer relationships through installation, maintenance and service agreements.

The role requires a proven background in gates and barriers sales, with experience in the security and access industry, and a full UK driving licence.

• Proven experience in gates and barriers sales – essential.
• Experience within the security and access industry.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of customers across the assigned territory.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the gates, barriers and security/access industry.
• Sell gates, barriers, installation projects, PPM contracts and service agreements.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
• Carry out site visits, surveys and customer meetings.
• Develop opportunities from initial enquiry through to successful completion.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and recurring revenue.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and close sales.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts.
• Work closely with internal installation, service and operations teams.
• Manage and grow existing accounts while continually developing the territory.
