Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover Leeds/Yorkshire in gates and barriers sales. You will develop new business and grow key accounts in a large field-based territory, driving revenue and recurring service opportunities.

The role offers a base salary up to £60,000 with OTE £10,000–£12,000, a company car or car allowance up to £500 monthly, and Monday–Friday 09:00–17:00.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in gates and barriers sales
• Experience in security/access industry preferred
• Strong track record of developing new business and managing accounts
• Experience selling installation, maintenance and service contracts
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of customers across the assigned territory
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the gates, barriers and security/access industry
• Sell gates, barriers, installation projects, PPM contracts and service agreements
• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and key decision-makers
• Carry out site visits, surveys and customer meetings
• Develop opportunities from initial enquiry through to successful completion
• Identify opportunities for additional services and recurring revenue
• Prepare quotations, negotiate terms and close sales
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts
• Work with internal installation, service and operations teams
• Manage and grow existing accounts while developing the territory
