Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is recruiting for an Area Sales Manager covering a large field-based territory in the gates and barriers sector. The role involves selling installation projects, PPM contracts and service agreements, and building long-term customer relationships across Leeds and surrounding regions.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in gates and barriers sales and a background in security or access control.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience selling gates and barriers.
• Background in security, access control, perimeter security or physical security is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of customers across the assigned territory.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the gates, barriers and security/access industry.
• Sell gates, barriers, installation projects, PPM contracts and service agreements.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
• Carry out site visits, surveys and customer meetings.
• Develop opportunities from initial enquiry through to successful completion.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and recurring revenue.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and close sales.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts.
• Work closely with internal installation, service and operations teams.
• Manage and grow existing accounts while continually developing the territory.
