Position

The Gates Engineer position involves working within our Maintenance Department across multiple sites. Responsibilities include installation, servicing, maintenance, and rectification works at various locations throughout London, adhering to specified timelines and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance as per contractual obligations and internal safety protocols.
  • Maintain and repair assets and building structures to uphold high standards.
  • Adhere to contractual timelines for rectifying damages and defects using established internal systems.
  • Proficiency in working with Gates, Barriers, Turnstiles and roller shutters.
  • Efficiently manage faults and breakdowns in a safe manner.
  • Undertake reactive call-outs to multiple sites as needed.
  • Maintain a positive Health & Safety culture by following guidelines and instructions.
  • Represent the company by exhibiting excellent behaviour and upholding company values.
Preferred Skills and Attributes
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Self-motivated with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Effective communication and reporting skills.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
  • Demonstrated maturity and responsibility, particularly in high-security environments.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Relevant qualifications for electrical work.
  • Previous experience with FAAC, BFT, CAME, HTC, Eagle Automation products would be preferable.
  • Preferred qualifications: DHF Automated gate and barrier training or gate safe pass, CSCS card.
Work Conditions
  • Monday through Friday with three different shifts available
  • 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM
  • 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM
  • Includes provision of work vehicle and power tools.
  • Parking fees covered through payment applications.
  • Flexibility for overtime as needed.
