Overview

Gas Engineer – Domestic Service and Breakdown. Salary: 42k with typical earnings 50-55k. VW van and excellent benefits. Based in SS postcodes.

Responsibilities

• Domestic gas servicing and breakdown on all domestic gas boilers for a large housing maintenance contractor.
• There is a requirement for all engineers in the team to cover callouts: 1 day per week (including weekends). Out-of-hours cover is 24 hours; after 10pm will be for major water leaks only.
• Overtime is paid at 1.5x rate for travel to the job and time to complete.
• There are opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Domestic ACS qualifications for CENWAT, CCN, CKR, HTR.
• Qualifications in ASHP, OFTEC or LPG are desired and will increase the salary banding offered, but are not essential.
