A charitable organization is seeking a Gardener to assist in maintaining properties and grounds. The role requires practical gardening skills and a UK driving licence. Candidates should have at least 3 years of horticulture experience and be physically capable of handling demanding tasks. The position offers a salary of £19,047.60 pro rata and various benefits, including a health cashback scheme and matched pension contributions. Closing date for applications is 16th January 2026.

The Caldecott Foundation has been helping children build a future for over 110 years. We provide schools, homes and therapeutic services to children and young people. We are looking for someone to provide gardening and assistance with maintenance at our properties and grounds to ensure that they are kept safe, secure and in good condition. Working to a high standard, in a safe and secure manner, whilst being sensitive to the needs of the staff and young people in the building.

As the role is physically demanding the applicant must have the ability to lift and handle large/heavy objects, be able to bend, reach, push, pull, load, unload climb and work safely at height. Ability to predominantly work on their feet during working hours and through the course of the day.
