Part-Time Games Design Lead Tutor

Location: London (E17)

Hours: 16.9 per week (across 3.5 days)

Salary: £13,524 - £20,286 (depending on experience & qualifications)

Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about games design and ready to inspire the next generation of creatives? We are seeking a Games Design Lead Tutor (Part-Time) to deliver engaging, industry-relevant teaching to young learners who are preparing for careers in the games and creative industries.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to learners' needs and interests
  • Support and track student progression, providing constructive feedback
  • Promote safeguarding, safety, and wellbeing at all times
  • Develop exciting opportunities for project collaboration across departments
  • Organise enrichment activities, trips, and guest speaker events
  • Engage in professional development, including a teacher training qualification if new to teaching
What We're Looking For

Essential qualities:

  • Highly organised, motivated, and committed to supporting young people
  • Excellent teaching, communication, and classroom management skills
  • Empathy and understanding of the challenges learners may face
  • A degree or relevant qualification in the subject area
  • Willingness to complete a recognised teacher training qualification (funded)

Desirable experience:

  • Professional background in the games or wider creative industries
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere
  • Skills in Autodesk Maya/Blender (modelling, rigging, texturing, animation)
  • Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine
  • Strong art, animation, or programming ability
