Recently, Luo raised $4 million in seed funding from top investors, including the co‑founder of Monzo and leading experts in cross‑border payments.

Role Description

We’re looking for an FX Sales Manager to expand Luo’s network of institutional partners trading African local currencies.

You will identify and onboard organisations that hold EUR and USD liquidity and require access to African currency liquidity — including NGOs, African exporters, FX brokers, remittance companies, banks, and trading firms.

This is a commercial role with direct impact on Luo’s trading volume and business growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify, prospect, and close new FX liquidity partners.
  • Build and manage relationships with NGOs & international organisations, African exporters / importers, payment companies & remittance providers, FX brokers & liquidity desks, banks & financial institutions.
  • Negotiate trading limits, liquidity terms, and settlement cycles.
  • Manage the institutional sales cycle from outreach to activation.
  • Support compliance during partner onboarding (KYC / KYB).
  • Represent Luo in industry networks, conferences, and events.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in B2B sales or partnerships within finance, trade, fintech, banking, or payments.
  • Ability to engage liquidity providers and treasury decision‑makers.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and deal‑closing experience.
  • Understanding of international FX flows or cross‑border payments (a strong plus).
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial and self‑driven mindset.
  • Fluent in English (French is a strong advantage).
