Job summary

Titford Funeral Directors in Frinton on Sea is seeking a Funeral Service Specialist (Level One) to lead the branch on a day-to-day basis. You will support families with empathy, guide them through Funeral Plans, and assist with ceremonial duties when needed.

The role is part-time (Mon-Fri, 1pm-5pm) and permanent, with a salary of £13,936.00 per annum. Full training is provided and the position sits within Life Services Group.

Qualifications

• Empathy and sensitivity in emotionally charged situations.
• Strong communication and organisational skills; confident with paperwork.
• Customer service experience is beneficial; full training provided.
• PC literate; comfortable with MS Office and internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Support families with empathy and professionalism.
• Arrange funerals meeting family wishes and legal requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day branch operations and presentation.
• Build relationships with suppliers, care homes, ministers, celebrants and florists.
• Lead chapel visits when required and assist with ceremonial duties.
