W G Rathbone Funeral Directors, Warwick, is seeking a Funeral Service Specialist (Level One) to lead the branch day to day, support families and guide them through funeral plans.

You will build trusted local relationships with suppliers, care homes and ministers, coordinate ceremonies, and oversee administration with care and precision.

The role offers training, empathy, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the community, with flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Empathy and calmness in emotionally sensitive situations.
• Experience in customer service or admin is beneficial (full training provided).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support families with empathy, professionalism and attention to detail.
• Arrange funerals meeting family wishes and legal requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day branch operations, including administration and presentation.
• Build relationships with suppliers, care homes and local groups.
• Lead chapel visits as required.
• Raise awareness of funeral plans and contribute to plan sales.
• Train in Funeral Conducting to assist with ceremonial duties during peak times.
