The role has the following areas of responsibility:
  • To manage a team of GSC qualified and part qualified accountants, starting with two direct reports but growing to a larger team as new client’s are onboarded.
  • Develop team members as appropriate and act as a mentor to part qualified accountants.
  • To review client পর deliverables including Quarterly/Annual Financial statements, Drawdowns and Distributions of designated private equity clients.
  • To ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with client expectations of fund reports including but not limited to capital accounts, investor reports and financial accounts.
  • Be responsible for developing a strong team ethic and for developing the culture of the organisation within the Milton Keynes office.
  • To develop a standardised set of fund accounting procedures to be applied to all clients.
  • To be first point of contact for assigned clients and to plan and manage the delivery of services to.
  • To assist the HVFA with the development of the Fund Accounting service offering.
  • To assist with taking on new clients.
  • To actively remain abreast of the technical development within the funds administration industry.To develop the use of the Investran and other relevant IT systems
  • Assist with ad‑hoc projects from time to time.
Key Responsibility Areas
  • Manage a team of qualified and part qualified accountants
  • To plan resource requirements for all client deliverables for allocated clients
  • To ensure accurate timely delivery of all client deliverables
  • To act as final reviewer and for PE Fund accounting team workload
  • To act as SME for PE Fund accounting teams and to ensure that the company is abreast of technical developments with the PE Fund Administration industry
  • To plan and deliver against current and future recruitment requirements for Milton Keynes office.
Education & Qualifications:
  • Specialised / Technical Qualified Accountant D Experience of managing staff E
  • Experience: Worked previously in a similar role E
  • Has broad experience of the Private Equity fund accounting industry D
Skills / Aptitude:
  • Displays strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of financial services industry
  • Exhibits a strong commitment to the achievement of the highest standards
  • Able to prioritise in a fast
