Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is seeking a Verification Assurance Officer (Central) based at a Jobcentre in Newark-on-Trent to help prevent fraud in the welfare system. You will interview claimants, collect evidence, and work with Jobcentre colleagues to strengthen verification processes on the front line.

This full-time, site-based role requires face-to-face interaction, regular MI reporting, and delivering customer education on responsibilities and fraud consequences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and follow-up interviews for verification of documents and claim information.
• Provide regular feedback on fraud trends to performance teams.

• Maintain accurate management information (MI) as directed by analysts.
