Job summary

Cyngor Caerdydd/Cardiff Council is seeking an enthusiastic individual to lead the busy frontline Homeless Assessment Team within the Housing Options Service, which provides advice and assistance under the Council’s corporate duty to help clients who are homeless.

This role is fast moving and demanding, requiring the ability to respond to service requests, manage change and problem solve while meeting high levels of customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience of management in a housing related environment.
• Sound knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation, policy and practice.
• Experience developing processes and procedures and progressing partnership working.

Responsibilities

• Lead the busy frontline Homeless Assessment Team.
• Ensure service objectives, targets and quality standards are met while delivering high levels of customer service.
