Job summary

Speedy Hire in Birmingham is seeking a Hire Desk Controller to join our depot team. You will coordinate the entire hire process from order to delivery and collection, building strong relationships with customers and internal departments to ensure service excellence.

This desk-based role requires strong organization, clear communication, and a readiness to learn. A driving licence and prior experience in hire or a similar sales/operational role are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Desk-based, coordinating the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection.
• Liaising with depot to ensure customer needs are met and satisfaction with the service.
• Work with stock teams, drivers and engineers to minimise delays in fulfilling customer needs.
