Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc in the United Kingdom is hiring a Hire Desk Controller based in Birmingham. The role involves coordinating the complete hire process from order to delivery and collection, and liaising with depot teams to meet customer needs and ensure satisfaction.

You will work desk-based with close collaboration across Stock, Drivers and Engineers, delivering excellent service while supporting our ESG objectives and ongoing development within the Speedy Group.

Qualifications

Strong organisational skills.
Strong communication skills both verbal & written.
Adaptability and willingness to learn.
Driving licence is required.
Experience in hire industry or similar sales/operational role.
Ability to support ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

Based in the depot, coordinates the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection.
Liaises with all parts of the depot to ensure customer needs are met and service satisfaction.
Desk-based role with regular interaction with stock teams, drivers and engineers to minimise delays.
