Job summary

HCLTech in the United Kingdom is seeking an Agentic Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with client teams, turning ambiguous problems into production agents. You will own end-to-end delivery of agentic workflows, from concept to deployment and sustainment, leading a small pod to deliver high-impact transformations.

You'll build in Python using ADKs, apply responsible AI practices, security, and governance, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to accelerate automation across finance,

Qualifications

• Proven Python engineering with typed, tested code.
• Hands-on agent building using at least one ADK.
• Experience with prompt engineering, RAG and MCP.
• Experience mentoring or leading small teams.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize business problems as agentic solutions with stakeholders.
• Design and ship single- and multi-agent systems in Python using ADKs.
• Drive delivery and operational efficiency with measurable ROI.
• Implement AgentOps/DevSecOps: CI/CD, observability, security governance.
• Lead a lean team of 3 engineers and mentor them.
