Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an Agentic Forward Deployed Engineer who embeds with clients to design and deploy autonomous agentic systems in Python. You will conceptualize business processes as agentic solutions, build and deploy both single and multi-agent systems, and drive measurable ROI with efficient, secure delivery.

You will lead a small team of 3 agent engineers, mentor others, and stay at the forefront of evolving agent frameworks while ensuring governance and Responsible AI principles are baked

Qualifications

• Strong Python engineering: typed, tested, packaged code and solid software practices.
• Hands-on agent building with at least one ADK.
• Solid command of agent engineering: prompt/context tooling and multi-agent orchestration.
• Eval-driven development: design evaluation harnesses for agent quality.
• Standards-based integration and DevSecOps: APIs, secure auth, CI/CD.
• Ability to conceptualize a business problem as an agent quickly in ambiguous settings.
• Client-facing maturity to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize a business process as an agentic solution with stakeholders.
• Build Single-agent and multi-agent systems in Python using ADKs.
• Drive delivery efficiency with measurable ROI and reduced cycle times.
• Harden prototypes to production-grade, well-tested Python.
• Implement AgentOps/DevSecOps: CI/CD, observability, governance.
