Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an Agentic Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with client teams and transform business processes into autonomous agent systems. You will own end-to-end delivery from concept to production, building multi-agent solutions in Python using ADKs and driving measurable ROI.

You will lead a small team, apply prompt and context engineering, ensure secure integrations, and maintain evaluation and governance practices throughout development and deployment.

Qualifications

• Strong Python engineering with idiomatic, typed, tested code.
• Hands-on agent building with at least one ADK.
• Solid command of agent engineering: prompt/context/memory/MC P and multi-agent orchestration.
• Eval-driven development: evaluation harnesses and safety metrics.
• Standards-based integration, APIs and secure authentication (DevSecOps).
• Ability to turn a business problem into an agent quickly in ambiguous environments.
• Client-facing maturity and ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring or leading small engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and embed with stakeholders to frame processes as agentic solutions.
• Design and ship single-agent and multi-agent systems in Python using ADKs.
• Drive delivery efficiency, shorter cycle times and reduced cost-to-serve.
• Harden prototypes into production-grade, well-tested Python.
• Develop evaluation harnesses and test suites for correctness and safety.
• Oversee AgentOps/DevSecOps: CI/CD, observability and governance.
• Capture feedback to improve prompts, context and agent design.
• Lead and mentor a lean team of 3 agent engineers.
