Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an Agentic Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with clients and transform business processes into autonomous agentic workflows. You will own agents end-to-end, from conceptualization to deployment, leading a small team to deliver production-grade Python solutions with strong security and governance.

You will design and ship single-agent and multi-agent systems using ADKs, ensuring measurable ROI and robust integration with client ecosystems, while staying ahead of evolving

Qualifications

• Strong Python engineering: idiomatic, typed, tested, and packaged code.
• Hands-on agent building with at least one ADK.
• Solid command of agent engineering: prompt/context caching, RAG, MCP, multi-agent orchestration.
• Eval-driven development: design evaluation harnesses and measure agent quality.
• Standards-based integration and DevSecOps: APIs, secure auth, CI/CD, observability.
• Ability to conceptualize business problems as agents quickly in ambiguous settings.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize a business process as an agentic solution and stand up a working prototype quickly.
• Build single- and multi-agent systems in Python using ADKs for client workflows.
• Drive delivery and operational efficiency with measurable ROI.
• Engineer the agent core including prompt engineering and context management.
• Integrate agents into client ecosystems with secure authentication and APIs.
• Create reusable components, guardrails, and production-grade code.
