Job summary

GEODIS SA is seeking a Gateway Coordinator to deliver efficient customer service within the Gateway team. The role involves data capture, invoicing, customs reporting and adherence to SOPs and regulatory standards.

You will coordinate consignments with internal and external partners, maintain relationships, and contribute to continuous improvement while following ISO guidelines and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or freight forwarder operations.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures and regulatory frameworks.
• Understanding of freight industry security processes and compliance requirements.
• Ability to follow SOPs and time sensitive procedures.

Responsibilities

• Raise records in the ETSF and discharge T1s from overnight DDX deliveries.
• Manage the sequential flow of consignments arriving and departing with accuracy.
• Ensure accurate data capture and uploading into the GFF in-house system.
• Complete daily work schedules in line with department procedures and deadlines.
• Resolve queries from customers and suppliers; maintain relationships.
• Co-ordinate vehicles to collect and deliver from the airline in a timely manner.
• Produce customs reports and ensure compliance with regulations.
