Job summary

EL Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Gateway Coordinator to join the Gateway team. You will ensure efficient customer service to the business, raise customs reports and coordinate vehicles for airline collections and deliveries with timely accuracy.

You will maintain professional relationships with suppliers and customers, manage records in the ETSF, discharge T1s from overnight deliveries, and ensure compliance with DfT/CAA, HMRC and IATA regulations.

Qualifications

• Fully PC literate in Excel and Word applications.
• Experience of airline transport is advantageous.
• Experience in freight forwarding and customs.
• Knowledge of DfT/CAA, HMRC and IATA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Raising Customs reports as required
• Co-ordinate vehicles to collect and deliver from the airline within a timely manor
• Maintain an integral, transparent and professional relationship with suppliers and customers
• Raise records in the ETSF and discharge T1's from overnight deliveries
• Manage the flow of consignments arriving and departing maintaining a 100% level of accuracy, robustness, safety and security.
• Resolve queries from customers and suppliers
• Ensure invoicing, job costing, CIA, Netting and milestone are updated within the required timeframe
• Remain in contact with customers and suppliers to maintain relationships
• Cost control
• Ensuring compliance with DfT/CAA, HMRC and IATA regulations
