Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Freight Forwarder to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging the safe, efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods by air, sea, road and rail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate the most appropriate transport routes, considering cost, transit time, security and the nature of the goods.
  • Negotiate transport rates, contracts and handling costs.
  • Arrange packing, warehousing and final delivery of goods.
  • Prepare and manage shipping, customs and insurance documentation in compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate with carriers, agents and third-party service providers.
  • Arrange insurance and assist clients with claims when required.
  • Provide consolidation, charter and project freight solutions.
  • Manage urgent, high-value and specialised shipments.
  • Utilise tracking and digital systems to monitor shipments in real time.
