Qualifications

• Experience with scaling APIs to handle multiple users simultaneously.

We’re working with a stat up who are building something BIG – a platform already used by thousands, with demand that’s outpacing thier tech. They need a Founding Engineer / Co-Founder – someone who wants to build, own, and scale from the ground up.

This is a build it, break it, fix it, own it kind of role. If you’re after comfort and safety nets, this isn’t it!

What you’ll be doing:

• Scale the API so thousands of people can hammer it at once without it breaking.
• Rebuild and scale backend & infrastructure
• Own technical direction end-to-end.
• Work side by side with the CEO on roadmap, demos, and sales.

What you need to bring:

• Backend / API experience at scale.
• Database & infrastructure background (Postgres, Elasticsearch, scraping).
• Front end (React / Next.js) ideal.
• Startup grit, passion & exciting to build something special!
