Job Summary

No previous forensic experience is required as full training will be given.

In collaboration with the Police you will serve in custody suites, delivering healthcare to detainees. We are dedicated to ensuring the safety of detainees with round‑the‑clock coverage in the custody suites, in line with a schedule agreed upon with our client.

Job Details

Salary: £41,000 a year (part‑time £20,500)

Contract: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full‑time or Part‑time with fixed shift rota, 4 shifts on / 4 days off for full‑time; day and night shifts for part‑time, 2 days on, 8 days, 2 nights, 4 days off.

Bonus: £1,000 after 12 months of service (£500 for part‑time)

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide healthcare to detainees across custody suites.
  • Work fixed shift rosters, including day and night shifts.

  • Maintain NMC/HCPC registration paid by employer.

Qualifications
  • RN, RGN or RMN with dual registration – 2 years post‑qualification (Band 5 minimum).
  • Paramedic – 2 years post‑qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience in a patient‑facing role within: General Practice, A & E, Emergency Medicine, acute medicine, Walk‑in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare or Ambulance Service.
  • Driving licence (required).
  • Have RTW in UK, resident in UK with British passport or ILR for 3 years and no gaps out of country longer than 3 months.
  • All candidates will be subject to Police vetting.
